About us
PolyMX
PolyMX performance rubber, known as CITO Polytop, is a high-quality synthetic ejection material built for the demands of rotary diecutting. Engineered for durability, it lasts significantly longer than traditional rubber, reducing downtime and die maintenance. Its wear-resistant properties allow converters to cut with less pressure while improving overall product quality.
At Butler Brothers, we use PolyMX on rotary dies when performance matters most. It improves ejection consistency, supports faster press speeds, and helps maintain clean, accurate cuts—even in tough conditions. Combined with our craftsmanship, this advanced material gives you a more efficient, more reliable diecutting experience.
Design
Butler Brothers boasts an advanced CAD and design team with over 100 years of combined experience in the cutting die industry. Our designers understand the critical link between structural design, tooling efficiency, and production success. Using state-of-the-art CAD software and industry-leading design standards, our team collaborates with you to refine and optimize every detail of your design, ensuring it is not only precise but also ready for seamless integration with tooling and manufacturing requirements.
Our design experts are readily available to assist you at every stage, from concept to press. We focus on eliminating potential production issues before they arise by ensuring that your designs are perfectly aligned with tooling capabilities and optimized for smooth, trouble-free performance during press runs. With Butler Brothers, you’re not just getting a die — you’re gaining a partner committed to enhancing your production efficiency and ensuring your projects succeed from start to finish.
Counters
Impression counters are essential tools for tracking press rotations and corrugate kicks as material moves through the diecutter. Installed on rotary dies, these counters provide accurate, real-time data on machine cycles, allowing converters to monitor production, schedule maintenance, and identify wear patterns. By understanding usage down to the impression, operators can prevent overuse, save time, prepare for replacement tooling, optimize lifespans, and maintain consistent cut quality.
