Company History

1981

We successfully established a state-of-the-art die facility in Kansas City, Missouri, after relocating from our previous location in St. Louis. This move was a strategic decision aimed at enhancing our operational efficiency and expanding our production capabilities.

 

1989

Expanded our facility into a new location to support growing operations and increase production capacity. This move was key to improving efficiency and positioning us for continued growth in the years to come.

 

1990

Purchased a new DT sample maker/plotter and a 40″x60″ digitizer to enhance our production capabilities. This investment was aimed at improving accuracy and efficiency in our design and sampling processes.

 

2000

We expanded with our first new combination flat and rotary laser system and purchased a new computerized flat and rotary rule processor. These additions enhanced our cutting capabilities, improving precision and production efficiency while allowing us to handle more complex projects with ease.

 

2001

Acquired our first new computerized auto rule bender to enhance our bending capabilities. This addition improved precision, speed, and consistency, allowing us to meet increasing production demands more efficiently.

 

2002

Added our second new computerized auto rule bender to enhance our bending capabilities further. This investment improved production efficiency and allowed us to handle higher volumes with greater precision and consistency.

 

2004

Improved accuracy and quality by purchasing a new computerized rotary curved auto bender. This investment allowed for more precise and efficient bending of curved materials, enhancing overall production capabilities.

 

2006

Purchased additional new computerized auto rule benders to further increase our production capacity. These additions enhanced our ability to meet growing demand while improving precision and efficiency in our bending operations.

 

2007

Increased capacity with the addition of a new water jet cutting system. This investment allowed for greater versatility and precision in cutting, enabling us to handle a wider range of materials and meet growing customer demands.

 

2010

Purchased 12,000 additional square feet of warehouse space for manufacturing and expansion, enabling us to increase production capacity. Along with this, we added a second new combination flat and rotary laser system to further enhance our cutting capabilities and support growing operational needs.

 

2011

Launched a redesigned website to enhance user experience, featuring improved navigation, detailed service offerings, easier access to resources, and streamlined customer support options.

 

2013

Purchased a new 140″ Bobst DRO Rotary Installation Cylinder to enhance precision and efficiency in the production process, enabling larger and more complex projects to be completed with greater accuracy.

 

2014

Opened a new location in Chicago, Illinois, to expand our reach and better serve the region. We also invested in a computerized, heavy-duty auto bender, a DRO rule installation cylinder, and two 66” rotary rule installation cylinders. These additions boosted production efficiency and precision.

 

2015

Launched the Evol cutting die department, introduced the new Polytop MX® ejection system, and purchased a new Serviform Rotex Plus computerized auto rule bender. These improvements enhanced production efficiency, precision, and the ability to meet customer needs with advanced technology.

 

2016

Purchased a new Job Shop Software System to streamline operations, improve scheduling, and enhance overall efficiency in managing customer orders and production workflows.

 

2018

Upgraded production capabilities with a new Lasercomb laser system and Serviform Rotex processor. These advancements improved cutting precision, reduced lead times, and enhanced overall workflow efficiency.

 

2020

Expanded CAD capabilities and enhanced customer service by investing in advanced software and training. This improvement streamlined design processes and allowed for faster, more accurate responses to customer needs.

 

2021

Enhanced efficiency and accuracy with the addition of a new Serviform Eco Bender. This upgrade streamlined the bending process, ensuring consistent quality and faster production times.

 

2022

Completed a full renovation of the facility, including restoring the building, upgrading walls, resurfacing the parking lot, and replacing the roof. These improvements enhanced functionality, safety, and curb appeal.

 

2023

Partnered with Refreshed Memories to enhance sustainability and upgrade waste management solutions. This collaboration improved recycling efforts and supported eco-friendly production practices.

 

2025

After a fire destroyed most of our facility, we quickly rebounded with the support of our team, clients, and partners. We’ve moved into a new 30,000 sq. ft. facility, added 3 new lasers, upgraded internally, and brought in 9+ new machines—turning a major setback into a leap forward. Most importantly, no one was hurt.
